So after i read a couple of your answer for similar problem on the forum, i do that : You need to reset the icl_sitepress_settings value in wp_options table After many hours trying to find out why polylang wouldn’t recognize my theme strings from wpml-config.xml I realized it doesn’t work with php 7.4 . After downgrading from php 7.4 to php 7.3 now the wpml-config.xml gets recognized and strings are correctly shown in the strings list .
